Start with the job you want the app to do
An inventory and a daily stylist solve different problems. If you enjoy creating outfits, look closely at boards and editing. If you want a starting suggestion, test the recommendation workflow. For a busy week, check whether reviewing and changing one day is easy. For travel, check how you identify the pieces used across several outfits.
Megu: daily looks from your own closet
Megu combines a photographed wardrobe, an AI stylist, daily outfit suggestions and a weekly planner. AI Polish can improve garment images, and Fix Photo accepts a description of a detail that needs correcting. Review generated images against the original clothes: small patterns, logos and colors can need adjustment.

Differences worth checking
Stylebook supports automatic tools. Its FAQ describes AI background removal and Outfit Shuffle. Compare how you use those tools with a conversational stylist; do not assume its workflow is entirely manual.
Free access varies by feature. Indyx distinguishes free core tools from Insider upgrades. Acloset’s support page describes an item limit. Cladwell separates free closet management from paid features. A trial is different from a permanent free plan, so check what remains available after the introductory period.
Images need a practical test. Automatic background removal and a newly rendered garment image are different operations. Either can make mistakes. Use the same clothing item when comparing apps and inspect the result before judging which works for you.
